Deceitful Seun gets Tricked

Mama Ngozi lives in Gariki. She was known far and wide for selling the finest dry fish and flavorful mangala at the local market. Mama Ngozi took great pride in her business and see it as hobby.

One thursday morning, a young man named Seun arrived at Garikki market. He had heard of Mama Ngozi's excellent reputation and decided to purchase some dry fish from her. However, little did Mama Ngozi know that Seun had malicious intentions hidden beneath his friendly demeanor.

Seun approached Mama Ngozi's stall and pretended to be interested in buying her delicious dry fish. He carefully examined the products and engaged in a friendly conversation with Mama Ngozi, gaining her trust with his charming words. Seun appeared sincere and eager to make a purchase, but little did Mama Ngozi know that he had a nefarious plan in mind.

After selecting the dry fish he wanted, Seun claimed to have transferred the money to Mama Ngozi's bank account. He showed her a text message that appeared to be a successful payment alert. Mama Ngozi, being a trusting soul, believed Seun's claim and started to pack the dry fish for him.

But Mama Ngozi was not easily fooled. As she handed over the packed dry fish, she cleverly asked Seun to wait for a moment while she verified the payment. She walked to a nearby shop and discreetly made a call to her husband, Papa Ngozi, informing him of the suspicious situation.

Papa Ngozi swiftly arrived at the market, accompanied by a few trusted friends known as ndi-yard. Together, they devised a plan to expose Seun's deceit and teach him a lesson he would never forget. Mama Ngozi returned to her stall, pretending to be satisfied with Seun's payment confirmation.

With a devious smile on her face, Mama Ngozi invited Seun to follow her to a quiet corner of the market, where they could discuss further business matters. Seun, feeling victorious, eagerly followed her, unaware of the trap awaiting him.

As soon as they reached the secluded area, Papa Ngozi and the ndi-yard emerged from the shadows. Their presence startled Seun, and before he could react, Mama Ngozi revealed that she had confirmed with her bank that no payment had been made. Seun's fake alert had been exposed.

Realizing that his deceitful plan had failed, Seun attempted to escape. But he was no match for the quick and determined Papa Ngozi and the sturdy ndi-yard. They swiftly apprehended him, ensuring he couldn't cause any further harm.

Mama Ngozi, who had always been peaceful and kind-hearted, couldn't tolerate dishonesty and the pain Seun had intended to inflict on her. With righteous anger, she and her husband, along with the ndi-yard, delivered a stern but fair punishment to Seun, teaching him a valuable lesson about the consequences of his actions.

Word of Seun's misdeeds quickly spread throughout Garikki market, serving as a cautionary tale for others who might attempt similar deceitful acts. Mama Ngozi continued to thrive in her business, trusted and respected by her customers, while Seun learned the importance of honesty and integrity in his own journey of personal growth.

And so, in the end, Mama Ngozi's strength, wit, and the support of her loved ones prevailed, proving that honesty and unity can triumph over deceit and greed in the bustling town of Garikki.
